The character (later known as 'Dad') was my way of venturing out into the world and exploring. He was my eyes and ears.

When my wounds healed I realised that the character I created was missing a point. He was missing a story.
After two years of writing, drawing, painting and trying out several ideas and styles I finally settled and have spend the last few months drawing each page by hand. It is a painfully slow process but the idea of doing it all on photoshop leaves me with a nasty taste in my mouth.

The story revolves around 'Dad' who is recently deceased.
In the world I have created we all go to one place when we die but our way of 'life' there depends on choices we made when we were alive.
The story involves a choice 'Dad' made and the concequences that he now has to deal with.
It may come as no suprise but I take alot of visual inspiration from Jhonnen Vasquez (creator of Johnny the homicidal maniac / Invader Zim) and have for years used his images as inspiration for paintings.
Anyway I hope you enjoy what you see and I appreciate any feedback.
